LEDs to Manipulate Mood, Health, Productivity

Lava lamps of the future:

In theory, solid-state devices (such as LEDs) with "perfect materials and designs" will dramatically reduce (11 percent by some estimates) overall electricity consumption. Hotmail Plugin for Apple's Mail Application

If you're like me, you got suckered into getting a hotmail account. Back in those days, Microsoft was still, kinda cool and for them to give away something for free, it's nothing short of a miracle. Then, I made the transition. I went from a regedit kinda guy - to an aqua interface OMG, I love my MAC! Then, I found out I couldn't configure my Mail app to work with hotmail. Damn you! I knew they had done it on purpose, why it's only obvious, it was free for a reason. They had me get cozy and settle in, my eBay account, Amazon, and PayPal, all of my important emails were going there. Ahh! I panicked, what am I going to do? It turns out we're not alone.

Thanks to Daniel Parnell, the genius behind Automagic Software, there is hope. He created the HTTPMail Plugin to support the HTTPMail protocol within Mail. It includes support for both hotmail and MSN. It is also, opensource (gotta love that) and it has recently been optimized to work with TIGER!

I don't know about you but I'm ready to forward all of my messages at once (something you cannot do at all in hotmail) to my new Gmail account and never have to see their horrible hotmail page again! I have invites to give, just post a comment with your request and current email.

TIGER + BLOGS + WIDGETS = F*KiNG COOL! =O)

This is my first attempt at using the new DashBlog widget. If all goes well and you find yourself reading this, it works and it is awesome! Dashboard works perfectly and as of today, there are #245 WiDgeTS available for download, like WOAH!

They cover just about anything, from tracking packages to your favorite TV shows to an FTP widget and a Magic 8 Ball widgy!

Here are some of my fav's:
WEATHER - STICKIES - PICKER - PACKAGE TRACKER - RSS BEAN - TV TRACKER - DAISY TRACKER and now DASHBLOG!

Here are some others I just came across:
Fetch - 8Ball - Snap Shots - Sunlit Earth - Widget Garden - Slashdash (slashdot) and of course a DIGG Widget that you can find on the entry below.

How f*king awesome! How else would I know that sudoriferous means: Sweaty or sweat producing? or that "Two things control men's nature, instinct and experience." - Blaise Pascal. or that the joke "You know you're a redneck when ... You take your dog for a walk and you both use the same tree." was voted the funniest for 05-26-2005 if it wasn't for MonkeyLabs Daisy Tracker widget! I LOVE MY MAC!
